The Journal of the Torrey Botanical Society

The Journal of the Torrey Botanical Society, known until 1997 as the Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club, is the oldest botanical journal in the Americas. The Journal’s main goal is the dissemination of scientific knowledge about plants and fungi. It publishes basic research in all areas of plant biology, except horticulture, with an emphasis on research done in, and on the plants of, the Western Hemisphere.

Note that we do not have any page charges, unless you are submitting multiple color images for print (online color images do not have any cost).

All articles are published as Open Access for no additional fee, as a part of the BioOne Subscribe to Open pilot program.
